Everyone around the world is in some way in need for some kind of service, they may be rich or poor, they're still in need of service. The poor, old and disabled are in need of more service than anyone else. Every day they struggle with things most people take for granted, they have much harder lives than any of us would have ever imagened. Simple things such as putting clothes on; getting from point a to point b; even eating 3 meals per day. People all over the planet face issues like this, they make do with what they have but that can be hard. That's why people have created organisations/charities that can support people that need it. By following the liks above you can help the less fortunate and become a server.
At Carmel many students come together to help people in need, they do this within clubs. Young Vinnies is the youth group related to the St. Vincent Depal Society, it helps people all over the world. Human Rights group talks about local, national and international abuse, the group is focused on serviving each other to be inspired in becoming ‘be the change you wish to see in the world’. Peer Suport is older students working with the younger ones to try and get them settled into Carmel as soon as possible. SAVE is an enviromentally friendly group that focuses on getting people to care for the enviroment. Z Club is about helping woman overcome barriers such as equality in education, legal rights and healthcare. Everyone at Carmel comes together to serve each other and the rest of the world!
